The aims of the Bristol-Bordeaux Association are to advance the education of the public in French Language, Culture, History, Life and Activities

History. The association has its roots in 1947, following the post-war twinning between the two cities of Bristol and Bordeaux.

Events with a French theme planned during 2008 will be held at the Church of the Good Shepherd Hall, Kings Drive, Bishopston, Bristol at 7.30 pm on the following evenings in 2008:

News. On Wednesday, 1st October 2008, Mr Dan Kelly, former Chairman of the Bristol-Bordeaux Association, received the highest honour of Commandeur dans l'Ordre des Palmes Académiques.
